This sucks! I didn't realize how bad I was going to hurt. I'm allergic to the medicine they sent me home with so I have to wait to get something else. The pain is by far the worst I've ever had with any of my surgeries but they didn't take as much stuff out as they did this time!! The nurses were a little stingy with the pain meds but I guess that is their job!
I had a mild panic attack before they took me back and started crying. Poor Buzz didn't know what to think! After they gave me some calm down meds, I asked Dr. Good if he brought his A game. He got a kick out of that! I remember waking up in terrible pain and having that damn breathing apparatus in my throat. UGH! So far my recovery has been uneventful. The kids come home tomorrow so that should prove interesting. I think Aidan is having a hard time being away. Bells couldn't care less as long as she is being waited on 24/7!
I've been having mild hot flashes. I'm not on any hormones right now (I forgot to ask dr if he gave me a hormone shot-probably should find out) I'm off to have a nap. Maybe my posts will start to be a little more cohesive in thinking once I stop taking the pain meds. I'm a little scattered.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers....and food! I had cupcakes for breakfast and they were great!
